Ensures 24/7 compliance with the NFPA 1989-19 Breathing Air Quality Standard. The BAUER B-DETECTION™ PLUS continuous air quality monitoring system measures the quality of the breathing air produced by the compressor system in real time, every time the compressor is running. The system measures CO, CO2, O2, N2, Dew Point and VOC content and compares the actual values vs. NFPA Standards for Breathing Air. 

Bauer’s patented Bump Testing Feature assures that all B-Detection sensors are checked automatically for accuracy at pre-prescribed intervals.  All Bump Test data is automatically logged into the BFS™ Cloud for permanent record keeping.

Prevents contaminated air from ever reaching your SCBA. If at any time the NFPA prescribed air quality values are out of spec, the B-DETECTION™ control unit displays a visual warning and prevents contaminated air from passing into the SCBA or storage cylinders. At the same time, the app automatically sends out push notifications to fire department designated personnel via SMS text and / or e-mail.

Cloud-connected with automatic record keeping. All measured air quality metrics are continuously uploaded to the BAUER B-DETECTION™ cloud-based app where they become proof of compliance with the applicable Breathing Air Standards of NFPA 1989-19. Customers are able remotely monitor their compressors air quality via the app and to run historical reports of air quality going back 5 years. Records are kept for a total of 10 years.
