This information bulletin affects - Nitrogen Control Units NCU1/ NCU2/ NCU4 with PC based touch screen interface
The Following procedure should be followed in order to calibrate the touch feature on the screen.
Tools required: Standard PC keyboard ( not PS2 style)
1) Remove the upper rear cabinet back panel and plug the standard keyboard into the keyboard connector on the motherboard. ( located next to the power plug connectors)
2) Power the NCU and let the system boot to the normal NCU main screen.
3) Press and hold the Ctrl key and then press the Break key (Ctrl + Break) to halt the NCU main program and receive the "press any key to return to system" message. Press any key and the type CLS followed by the enter key to clear the screen. At this time one should see only the "C prompt" c:\>
4) Change the current system directory to the touch screen driver directory by typing "cd\tscdrv" and pressing the "enter" or "return" key.
5) Start the calibration program by typing "ecall" followed by the "enter" key.
6) The calibration program will start and place on the screen a number of small white rectangles, first at the top of the screen, then the right side, then the bottom and so on. By touching the rectangles, the current screen coordinates for that rectangle will flash up on the screen and the next rectangle will be shown. The program will require the four rectangles to be touched for each of the 12 standard DOS screen modes at which point the program will stop automatically.
7) After the Calibration program has closed, press the reset button on the front of the NCU to start using the new calibration points.
