DOT 5000 psig cylinders are made manufactured in accordance to DOT-E-10869-5000 specification.
DOT 6000 psig cylinders are manufactured in accordance to DOT-E-9909 specification.
The mandatory retest period for DOT cylinders is every five(5)years.
ASME cylinders conform to the ASME code section VIII, division 1 latest edition and are for non-corrosive service.
ASME cylinders have a 3 to 1 (3:1)safety factor at 6000 psig adn a 4 to 1(4:1) safety factor at 5000 psig.
